Scotchlok UR Connectors ("Red buttons"), are used for general butt splicing with 2 or 3 wires 19-26 AWG air core with maximum insulation O.D. of .066". This product is designed for butt splicing voice and data communication cables with solid copper single-conductor wire. "U" contact in the button clamps down on the wire, strips the insulation, and grips the conductors in a gas-tight connection. The connectors are filled with corrosion-resistant sealant at the factory to protect the connection against air and moisture. Product manufacturer may vary.

Splicing Instructions:

• Hold wire ends parallel for 1" and clip off even. Do not strip insulation.
• Hold connector with button side down and insert wires all the way into ports.
• Crimp the button onto the wires using a 3M Scotchlok hand tool.
